Ethiopia's $20 million scholarship scam

This political cartoon is based on a bizarre corruption scam in Ethiopia in which the Ethiopian Foreign Minister, Tedros Adhanom endorsed a girl's bogus $20 million scholarship from her college as well as the Rotary Foundation and Australian government. The Australians have denied that such a scholarship exists with Victoria police investigating and eventually people started asking serious questions. However instead of admitting his dishonesty Tedros blamed the teenage girl for the nonexistent scholarship claiming that it was not his fault that he trusted a child despite the fact that this entire scam was created by the Ethiopian government and he was part of it.

This is the link to the press conference in which Tedros and some Ethiopian government officials present the girl talking about the fraudulent scholarship:

Three faces

Here's the last three exaggerated caricatures I did during the holiday break which is now over and school has started. The first guy is a Disney animator drawn from a photo, the second is loosely based off a classmate and the last guy was an audience member at a Christmas orchestra concert in Vienna drawn from a youtube clip.

More bro sketches with Chinese food

If I have leftovers I always draw on my Chinese food takeout box before i put it in the fridge.
The rest of the gestures and caricatures below are of my younger brothers as I was observing them while they were watching videos on the computer.
